This tasting was my first meeting with ESoW, but it will definitely not be my last. An excellent display of competitively priced top Bordeaux at a great location - many temptations in the store as well.

I can’t speak highly enough about this place. Starting with the wine, they have a fantastic selection from around the world. They have wine for every price range- when I need a cheap bottle for a last minute wine night they’re $25 and under section never misses. Really can’t believe the quality to price ratio here. They also have many bottles that are great to splurge on. The wine is great but what makes this place great is the people. Eddy is the most generous person I have ever met so kind and patient. Lea is the sweetest person who brings a warm energy to the store. Andrea is hilarious - I’m always laughing with him and he’s so knowledgeable about wine. You really can’t beat this place

Fun Event at Empire Wine Champagne and Fried Chicken this past Wednesday. Fantastic opportunity to try and compare 54 different champagnes.Just that alone was an excellent value. The band was an added plus. The fried chicken was really good but there was hardly any available. I had one small piece. Also if another event is planned for the future, there should be dump buckets to discard the unfinished champagne. 4 1/2 stars Overall it was well worth it!!!

I had.a frustrating experience with a stubborn synthetic cork in a bottle bought here. Took the bottle back with the mangled cork still in place. Manager helped extract cork, provided unopened new bottle, and better corkscrew -- no charge. Much appreciated. And the Bierzo was excellent too. Great wine shop.

Been my go to place for wine for years. The owners are passionate and love to recommend wines for any budget and occasion. I've also learned a lot about wine, the grapes, and the vineyards from them, and that is the cherry on top of an already great experience. I've recommended them to my friends and they've only had good things to share. To the owners, keep up the energy and enthusiasm and thank you.

The quality of the Champagne houses attendance was excellent. The service by those houses/reps were great as well. The areas of improvements: NO water provided, not enough "fried chicken" - need a better presentation of the food. The charges appeared on my credit card was overcharged. I paid for early bird special tickets and was charged for the full amount. The management needs to be more accurate on its billing system.

Great people to do business with. I get my wine delivered to Massachusetts. All the orders are complete, professionally boxed and packed. Eddie and his top-notch team can help you build a great wine collection. Always a 5-star experience. Next time I am in the city I will check out the new store.

this store has an amazing selection of eclectic wines from all over the world. the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Always a pleasure to go there. Never been disappointed with their recommendations.
